Since establishing Coverings Sunshine Coast in 2017, Will has grown the business into one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading destinations for premium flooring, window furnishings, outdoor shading and interior finishes.

With an exceptional eye for detail and extensive technical knowledge, Will oversees every project with a practical, hands-on approach. He has built a reputation for finding solutions where others see challenges, specialising in complex installations, custom applications and ensuring every product is installed exactly as intended.

Whether he’s measuring a home, planning a commercial project or working alongside builders and installers, Will’s focus is always on achieving the best possible outcome. His understanding of flooring, window furnishings and outdoor products, combined with years of practical experience, allows him to recommend solutions that are both functional and built to last.

A true perfectionist, Will believes the smallest details often make the biggest difference. His commitment to quality craftsmanship and doing the job properly has become one of the foundations of Coverings Sunshine Coast’s reputation.

Away from work, Will enjoys spending time with his wife Connie, owner of the much-loved Chalet café at Sunrise Beach, exploring the outdoors on his motorbike and making the most of the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.

Growing up on a farming property in Queensland’s Darling Downs, creativity was simply part of everyday life. My earliest memories of interiors were watching ordinary spaces transformed through colour, texture and handcrafted pieces, and it sparked a lifelong passion for creating homes that feel both beautiful and deeply personal.

Over the years, that passion has evolved through a career spanning marketing, hospitality and interior styling. Today, as Creative Director at Coverings Sunshine Coast, I work closely with homeowners, builders, architects and designers to bring together flooring, window furnishings, wallpaper and bespoke soft furnishings into spaces that feel cohesive, timeless and thoughtfully considered.

I’ve developed a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the people behind it. Living within a family of makers has reinforced my belief that great interiors aren’t simply about selecting beautiful products—they’re about respecting the skill, precision and care that goes into every installation, every upholstered piece and every handcrafted detail. That philosophy influences everything we do, from the flooring we lay and the curtains we install to the cushions we hand-finish.

Our business has been built on strong relationships with local tradespeople, Australian manufacturers and talented artisans who share our commitment to quality. Supporting local craftsmanship and our Sunshine Coast community isn’t simply part of our business—it’s at the heart of who we are.

For me, every project is about more than selecting finishes. It’s about creating spaces that feel welcoming, functional and uniquely personal—homes and places that our clients genuinely love living in.

With many years of industry experience, Tara brings extensive knowledge across curtains, blinds, shutters, outdoor awnings and motorised window furnishing systems. Her technical expertise, combined with her calm and thoughtful approach, makes her a trusted advisor for both clients and our team.

Working closely with homeowners, builders and designers, Tara guides clients through product selections to ensure every solution is tailored to their lifestyle, design vision and practical needs. Whether recommending the right shading system, selecting fabrics or coordinating the finer details of a project, her attention to detail helps every installation run seamlessly.

If organisation were an Olympic sport, we’re pretty sure Tara would take home the gold. Her meticulous approach keeps projects running smoothly, and it’s fair to say we’re all striving to be as organised as she is.

Mel joined Coverings Sunshine Coast from outside the interiors industry, bringing with her a fresh perspective, a kindred spirit and a genuine passion for helping people create beautiful homes. As our Flooring Specialist, she has quickly developed a love for all things flooring and soft interiors, embracing every opportunity to learn from our experienced team.

With a natural ability to solve problems and a calm, positive approach, Mel enjoys working closely with clients to find practical solutions that also reflect their personal style. Whether she’s helping select the perfect flooring, coordinating colours and textures, or exploring soft furnishing options, she is passionate about creating spaces that are both functional and inviting.

As the newest member of our team, Mel continues to expand her knowledge every day, combining her enthusiasm, attention to detail and can-do attitude with the support of our experienced specialists.
