Salty Mermaid, Peregian Beach

Our role was to help bring that vision to life through a carefully curated selection of soft furnishings and wall treatments that would complement the café’s unique identity while standing up to the demands of a busy commercial environment.

The project included custom sheer curtains, bespoke banquette seating and feature wallpaper, with each element designed to contribute to the overall atmosphere of the space.

Floor-to-ceiling hand-drawn sheer curtains were installed throughout the café, running the full length of the space. The sheers soften the natural light and create a beautiful sense of movement while maintaining the open, airy feel that the venue is known for.

The custom banquette seating was designed and manufactured to provide both comfort and durability. Upholstered in carefully selected fabrics, the seating introduces warmth and texture while offering a practical solution for a high-traffic hospitality environment.

The feature wallpaper became an instant focal point, adding a playful layer of personality and helping to define the unique character of the café.

The finished space feels effortless, inviting and full of life. Every element works together to create an environment that encourages people to linger a little longer, whether they’re stopping in for a morning coffee or meeting friends for lunch.

Projects like Salty Mermaid are always rewarding because they demonstrate the impact that custom furnishings and thoughtful design can have on a commercial space. When a client has a clear vision and trusts the process, the results speak for themselves.
